Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer at Generic Healthcare Ltd. located in Mirpur. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for network administration, network engineering, troubleshooting, network security, and network design. You will ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and support the company’s IT needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS) and common software applications.
- Familiarity with hardware components and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work well in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addresses, LAN/WAN, DNS, etc.).
- Experience with troubleshooting tools and IT support ticketing systems.
- Prior internship or work experience in IT support or a similar role is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
- Provide technical support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including PCs, printers, and network devices.
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including user guides, manuals, and IT policies.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system security and efficiency, including antivirus updates and system backups.
- Support in deploying new software updates, system upgrades, and patches.
- Help with the management and organization of IT assets, including inventory tracking and device management. Participate in network and system monitoring, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Assist with the installation of new hardware and software applications.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system backups, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
