Major (Retd) Fazlur Rahman Bir Pratik is a successful businessman and philanthropist. Maj. (Retd.) Fazlur joined the Bangladesh Army during the 1971 Liberation War and was given the gallantry award of Bir Pratik for his contribution in the war. After his retirement from the military, he formed his own construction company Tiger International which did most of its work with MES. He is also the Managing Partner of Universal Marketing & Sourcing which supplies equipment to DGDP as an enlisted Grade A vendor. He is also the founding Chairman of Loreeto Limited which owns and operates a 36 years old English Medium school. Maj. (Retd.) Fazlur does multiple charity and voluntary work. He has travelled extensively all around the world and has a huge experience in running multiple businesses.

Seasoned Healthcare Administrator with over 20+ years of experience in Healthcare Management and Administration and also as a clinical practitioner. He has worked as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a few leading healthcares. He is experienced in organizing and leading the operations and medical services teams. He has worked at ground level and led the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and the Business Development teams (Sales & Marketing). He has conducted multiple clinical audits to improve service efficiency of the physicians/doctors. In parallel, Dr. Faisal has worked as a consultant in Bangladesh’s Healthcare industry for over 10 years and has been an advisor for multiple healthcare facilities. He has helped directly plan, organize and implement and successfully put into operational mode multiple health facilities.
At the earlier part of his career he practiced as a General Surgeon. Later he obtained a Master’s in Hospital Administration & Management and is also on the faculty of North South University’s Department of Public Health. He also completed a course on “Value Based Healthcare Delivery” & Healthcare Management/Administration under Harvard Medical School, USA. He completed a course work on “Healthcare Executive Management Development Program” under AIIMs, New Delhi, India. Last December he received an international award “Outstanding Leadership Award” from ‘Health 2.0’ in Dubai. Dr. Faisal has co-authored several research papers on current and pressing healthcare topics, including patient migration, the importance of accreditation in the healthcare sector of developing nations, and HIV/AIDS issues amongst university students in Dhaka. Dr. Faisal is a strong believer in continuous learning throughout the course of one’s career and actively seeks opportunities to maintain his expertise by attending professional workshops / seminars at home and abroad. He is involved in charity and voluntary work and is also a member of Rotary.

Mr. Asif Ziauddin has had a stellar career spanning the fields of Business Administration, Marketing, Business Development, information technology, International trade, infrastructure projects and entertainment industries for over 16 years. On his marketing acumen, selective aggression and hands-on approach enabled him to start-up a diversified company (SYNERGOS), which has taken a corporate leadership position year after year in a highly-polarized metro circle like Dhaka, Bangladesh, while catapulting it as a prominent national diversified company providing services in the fields of Medical, Civil and Structural Engineering and Oil and Gas & Renewable Energy industries weathering challenges from well-entrenched competitors. Before SYNERGOS, Mr. Ziauddin worked at World Bank, Zicom Equipment Pte. Ltd., JOBS-IRIS (USAID), Smart Surface SDN BHD, Channel International Ltd. Mr. Ziauddin is currently focusing on the diversification of SYNERGOS Groups businesses into high-growth sectors such as International Trade, LNG & Marine Solutions, Shipping, Information Technology, Industrial Surveillance & Networking, Automation solutions & services, Energy, Power & Infrastructure development projects to name a few. His sustained efforts have already helped the Group’s foray into many Asian countries and he is determined to maximize its presence across the globe. Mr. Ziauddin graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Wollongong, Australia.

Mr. Saifur Rahman is a Proficient Commercial Banker, possess 15+ years experience in Wholesale banking, Risk management, Cash Management, Trade finance and Forex portfolios. Expert working with a clear understanding and communication that can make commercial banking experience more seamless. Excelled managing business finances for: Contract finance– various Government Infrastructure projects, Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare Industry, Manufacturing as well as supply chain management where each client receives customized solution that suits their unique business needs. After completion of BBA & MBA from North South University, he completed IAFP (International Accounting and Finance Professionals Program), Financial Planning from Ryerson University in 2018. He started his professional banking career with HSBC, Bangladesh and is now currently the Relationship Management Team Lead at Scotiabank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada for the last 7 years. Before that he was a Key Account Manager – Business Banking for more than 4 years at Mashreq Bank in Doha, Qatar. Earlier he worked in Brac Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, The City Bank Ltd & Eastern Bank Ltd.

Dr. Tanuja Rahman is Seasoned Laboratory Medicine specialist and Microbiologist with over 20+ years of experience in working and supervising clinical laboratories and also as a clinical practitioner. Earlier she was an Assistant Professor at Marks Medical College & Hospital and before that she was also working in the Department of Microbiology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). She is experienced in organizing and leading the operations and supervision of a clinical laboratory. In parallel she has worked as a consultant in Bangladesh’s Healthcare industry for over 10 years and has been an advisor for multiple healthcare facilities in setting up the laboratory. At the earlier part of her career she practiced as a General Practitioner. Later she obtained a Master’s in Microbiology from Department of Microbiology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). She completed her Thesis on “Isolation of aerobic enteric bacteria from large gut in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis”.She has attended multiple professional workshops / seminars at home and abroad on Laboratory Medicine & Microbiology.

Mr. Tanwir Serajuddowla is an Architect and Interior Designer by profession, he has over 22+ yeasr of experience in this sector. He completed his B.Arch. ( BUET) and later got trained in Carpentry workshop training from DTC (Germany). He is a member of IAB. He worked with the renowed Tanya Karim N. R. Khan & Associates as a Senior Architect. Prior to that he was the Managing Partner of Eccentric. Currently he is the Proprietor of Ecliptic, an architectural and internal designing firm. His responsibility ranges from preparing feasibility reports, to development of programmers on design elements, designing preliminary proposal for client approval, development of proposed designs, co-ordination between services, preparation of final construction drawings and documents (Tender Items, specifications and BOQ), supervising construction at site and being responsible for the supervision of other design personnel both for top supervision and for full time on site supervision. The job includes managing the regular business of the firm’s activities, and in guiding the respective design personnel, both employed architects and design engineer to successful completion working drawings and the projects. He has planned and designed a few healthcare facilities in Bangladesh.
