Dr. Md. Masud Jaman Shovon

I have completed my MBBS from Rangpur Medical College under Rajshahi University in the year 1998. Then I joined as a Medical Officer in BCS Health Cadre in 2003. I did my Residency in General Surgery for 4 years and then completed MS in Urology in the year 2012 from BSMMU. Since then, I’m practicing in this field. Specially trained in Endourology and Urological Surgery. Got experience in advanced procedures like Cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, PCNL, and URS. I have worked as a consultant urologist in various Government Medical College and Hospitals in Bangladesh for about 15 years. Currently working as an assistant professor in Dhaka Medical College & Hospital. I am also involved in teaching medical students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I am also a member of International Society of urology and Bangladesh association of Urological Society. I have 7 publications in National journals. I have extensive experience in managing patients with kidney, ureter, bladder diseases, prostate disorders, male infertility, urogenital cancers, congenital disorders and urinary tract infections. Skilled and expert in performing laparoscopic and open urological surgeries. I am an optimistic person, positive and hopeful towards life. Patient-friendly and empathetic doctor. I’m blessed that Almighty Allah gave me the ability to relieve the pain of patients. I want to dedicate my knowledge and skill for the betterment of my patients.
