Dr. Md. Rafayel Islam is a highly qualified and experienced physician specializing in Medicine, Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Abnormal menstrual disorders, and other hormonal imbalances. He completed his MBBS from Dhaka National Medical College and pursued further specialization with a clinical fellowship in medicine from icddr,b. Additionally, he has earned CCD from BIRDEM and DOC in Dermatology, equipping him with comprehensive expertise in internal medicine and endocrinology.
Currently, he is in the thesis phase of FCPS in Endocrinology & Metabolism, focusing on advanced research and treatment approaches in hormonal disorders. His 10 years of extensive experience includes fellowship in icddr,b, followed by many years as a Registrar in the Medicine Department at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital. He is currently serving in the Endocrinology Department at BSMMU, where he manages complex endocrine and metabolic conditions with a patient-centered approach.
