Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Medical Technology (Radiology & imaging) or related field.
- Valid state radiologic technologist license.
- Proven experience as a Radiology Technician.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiologic equipment.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following ethical guidelines.
